At DM-AI Solutions ("we", "our", "us"), developers of the SanaMente application, we are committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use our mobile application and associated services.
SanaMente is an emotional wellness companion application that uses artificial intelligence to provide supportive conversations, breathing exercises, mood tracking, and personal journaling. By using SanaMente, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect minimal technical information such as device type, operating system, and usage logs to improve application stability. We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or access other applications on your device.

SanaMente uses third-party artificial intelligence models to process your chat messages and provide empathetic emotional support responses:
Important: AI providers do not permanently store your conversations, do not use them to train their models, and cannot personally identify you. Messages are processed in real-time and discarded from their servers.
SanaMente's AI is not a mental health professional. It does not diagnose, prescribe medication, or substitute professional therapy. It is an emotional wellness companion tool.
SanaMente uses generative AI services provided by Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) to power the empathetic chat and journal reflections. When you interact with these features, the content of your messages is sent encrypted to the corresponding AI provider for processing and response generation.
Your conversations, journal entries, and mood records are NOT used to train artificial intelligence models. We operate under commercial agreements with Anthropic and Google that expressly prohibit the use of customer data for model training. The providers process your messages solely to generate the response in real time and do not retain them for learning purposes.
We protect your data with the following measures:
We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data, conversations, journal entries, and mood records are permanently deleted within a maximum of 30 days.
We retain your personal data (account, conversations, journal, mood records) while your account is active on SanaMente. We do not have automatic deletion timelines while you remain an active user.
Account deletion (delete account). You can delete your account at any time from Profile > Delete my account within the application. Upon confirming deletion, all your personal data is permanently erased from our servers within a maximum of 30 days, except for minimal records the law requires us to retain (for example, anonymized tax or information-security records). The deletion procedure is immediate and does not require contacting support.

SanaMente is designed for individuals aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we discover that we have collected data from a minor without parental consent, we will delete that information immediately.
